Hi everybody, Here are my observations for the evening of April 5, 1999 : 22251 92 083A 1745 E 19990406005805200 37 25 1302750+594200 68 M-020 07 19531 88 089A 1745 E 19990406011309400 37 25 0028000+862200 68 S+055 07 02825 67 053B 1745 E 19990406013517000 37 25 1339000+515500 68 S+060 07 24297 96 051A 1745 E 19990406014932400 37 25 0201000+643300 68 S+050 07 22251 USA 86 19531 NOAA 11 02825 Timation 1 r 24297 Cosmos 2333 USA 86 flared slowly to mag -2 at 00:55:33 UTC on the 6th while at 126° Az and 37° El. Also observed without positional measurements, Mir and EGP which was flashing at a certain time only once every 0.4 to 0.5 sec. A lot of people down here are getting into satellite observation. They are all amateur astronomers and satellites make an interesting and challenging addition to their list of observation subjects. Cheers !
