Hello, Last night (April 6) we saw a passage of NOSS 2-1 (22:13 UT). All three were around magnitude 2 : easily visible with the naked eye. Later we saw Iridiums 14, 21, 75 & 70 in the same area of the sky. With the time between first and last being about 17 minutes. The first two have a '?' status: they flared as predicted, but with a magnitude less than predicted. I was observing with a group of 'deep sky people'. They were glad they saw something else for a change besides nebulae. And when I showed them a geosat in my telescope (my 8 inch was dwarfed by theirs), it made them feel drunk! (observing site was at 51,0 N ; 2.86 E) bye, kurt -- kurtsmaze@tiscalinet.be http://www27.brinkster.com/kurtsmaze ----------------------------------------------------------------- Unsubscribe from SeeSat-L by sending a message with 'unsubscribe' in the SUBJECT to SeeSat-L-request@lists.satellite.eu.org http://www.satellite.eu.org/seesat/seesatindex.html
