I
have not seen an unclassified identification of the resident space
object (RSO). In briefings, it is described as "dead/inactive" and
"owned wholly by U.S."
This strikes me as an odd obfuscation, since we will know once XSS-11
is on-orbit. Perhaps the Air Force doesn't want to overwhelm us with
detail in the meantime.
