    Yes. If the orientation of the satellite is off, from what the values used by the program are,
    then the flares can be brighter are fainter then predicted. I seen at least one iridium flare
    which was much fainter then predicted.
    
    So you should expect to be surpised.
    
    Tonight while at a public observing event, we saw a nice bright -8 flare from iridium 33. People
    said sort of like "WOW".
