Congratulations to Pierre for his extraordinary recovery of USA 161, more than one hour late on previous elset; to Russell for a similar achievement on March 04; and to Ted for his analysis that these two matched (with high precision) a single orbit, very different from the previous, and from both search orbits! On my first clear night since Pierre's obs, I found it just 7 seconds early on Ted's elset (below) (83 deg pass observed with 7*50) There are some time/crosstrack deviations larger than my assumed error limits, but I am sure Mike/Ted/Pierre will make educated guesses for best fit. (My first one should be least accurate) 26934 01 044A 5919 E 20060401223831660 17 25 1111915+625589 19 S 26934 01 044A 5919 E 20060401223858950 17 25 0938918+721390 28 S 26934 01 044A 5919 E 20060401223945990 17 25 0517826+731895 28 S Data is in IOD format; see http://www.satobs.org/position/IODformat.html -- Björn Gimle -- -- COSPAR 5919, MALMA, 59.2615 N, 18.6206 E, 33 m -- -- COSPAR 5918, HAMMARBY, 59.2985 N, 18.1045 E, 44 m -- -- COSPAR 5920, FRUVIK, 59.3260 N, 18.4820 E, 11 m -- ----- Original Message ----- > Pierre Neirinck has recovered USA 161 - the primary spacecraft in the > KeyHole > eastern plane.
