    Hey All,
         At 6:01UT (1:01am local time - CDT, 26 minutes
from local midnite) today (April 15) I saw an
additional star in the handle of Ursa Major. Threw me
off for a bit. It was located at around +56 dec and
12h 35m RA. It did not move but flared to as bright as
the other stars in the Big Dipper. Then it rapidly
faded. It must have been pretty far away to be seen
that late at night and that motionless. Any ideas?
Will it be back there tonite?

         Regards,
              Jeff Umbarger
