    I didn't realize at the time I wrote the following, that
    97034C is a tumbling (possibly now rotating) Iridium!
    As such, it has at least five highly reflecting surfaces (solar panels 
    should be parallell), and there may be more than one phase shift 
    (apparent delay) among your (faint) flashes.
