days of nice soaking rain - is this an early winter for me ? (2) Both SARLUPE satellites early but easy to find as they are so bright at reasonable phase angles. (3) The two FAST satellites are not easy objects at average to poor phase angles. FAST 1 appears to be highly variable, ranging from perhaps mag +7 or +8 to fainter than +12. FAST 2 appears to be more stable and about mag +10. Hopefully they are brighter at more reasonable phase angles. (4) USA 40 rocket can be very difficult. On the pass observed it was quite bright and easy but then faded to fainter than about +13 where it remained for a long time so looks like it has a very long variability cycle.
