Flash pattern (no flash period) of Hitomi
(Astro H, 41337, 16-12A) was definitely
flash-flash-flash-miss. Observed with
binoculars. Brightest I saw without bins
were about +3, maybe +2. There were cirrus
clouds, partly cloudy. As it crossed the
sky the character of the flashes seemed to
change some, such that the middle one of
the three might have been a bit fainter
than the other two part of the time. I
tried to observe 41442 earlier, but the
clouds were worse and the sky not as dark,
and I may have just missed it anyway.
