Although the inclination of Marco's unknown was within 1 deg of the inclination of the payload and rocket body of the recent Iranian launch, there was a big difference in their RAAN (right-ascension of ascending node). Marco's unknown had a RAAN of 128.7 deg. At that time, the Iranian objects had RAAN about 28 deg greater. That tends to rule out any correlation.
