If this is due to carriage return/linefeeds when moving from UNIX to DOS
(unix only has linefeeds, no carriage returns), if you are sitting on a
DOS machine you could transfer the *ASCII* files in ASCII mode to do the
translation. Of course you can't do this with the zipped files or if you
use a unix machine and then transfer the file to a DOS machine. One
possibility is for me to make DOS versions and keep them on the archive,
clearly marked.
