The value of the online NASA predictions for Jane and Joe Public should
not be understated, either.  Someone who succeeds in seeing a high bright
shuttle pass may become interested in seeing other satellites and nightsky
sights, which could lead to that person becoming a contributor to this list,
another advocate for dark sky legislation, etc.  I am a living example of
that process!  [ Thanks again to Mike McCants for sending me that first set
of shuttle predictions, six(?) seven(?) years ago now. :-) ]
