For me, the pass at 02:00 is only 10 degrees a.h. in the east, where Sun
is
8.5 degrees below.

In e.g. Belgium, the next orbit at 03:35 is 17 deg. a.h., with Sun 9.5
below,
so at US sites they should be possible to follow from the the end of the
first day.
