Iridium observations

Thanks to Ron Lee for pointing out that, in my excitement, I
inadvertently reported the observation month as being October instead of
August. Unusual, but gratifying, observations of satellites like the
Iridiums can be distracting. I hope to show the video of the Iridium
flares at EUROSOM 3, whenever that is scheduled.

This morning August 27, clouds rolled in and I could not make any
observation from my location 3.5 miles north of the NASA Johnson Space
Center in Clear Lake City which is located about 25 miles southeast of
the center of Houston. We will be trying again tomorrow when similiar
geometry recurs.
