For the continental US, a Delta 2 Rocket Body (#24877 97-035B) is making some very low perigee passes in the late morning hours. Some of the passes are as low as 122 miles (196 km). I didn't see an RCS in the satellite situation report, but averaging previous Delta 2 R/B's I came up with a figure around 14 sq meteres. It should be bright, and very fast. Those of you getting up for the Iridium passes should check it out. Craig Cholar 3432P@VM1.CC.NPS.NAVY.MIL
