Hi List,

Excuse the off-topic post, but in plotting some satellite tracks
for this weekend, I noticed that the gibbous moon is going to
occult xi-Sgr (mag 3.5) on Sunday night, August 22, a little
after 9 pm EDT as viewed from the east coast.  Appears that
Miami is a little too far south to see the occultation, but
north of there things get progressively better.  Gainesville,
Florida, should just see it, for instance.  Washington, D.C.,
Philadelphia, New York, Boston, etc. are all in good shape.
