I observed the ISS at 01:27, on 08/11/2000, UT. It was at the predicted Satspy magnitude of -0.2 (pre-Zvezda magnitude base), not at the Heavens-above prediction of +1.1. When completed in 2005, the ISS will routinely make passes of -4 magnitude, and its structure will be visible naked-eye. Does anyone know if the September 8-19 Space Shuttle mission will add another piece to the ISS? --------------------------------------------------------------- Jonathan T.
