In PPAS format 99-039 B 00-08-13 02:22:19.93JDG 97.0 0.3 13 7.46 +2.5->inv Okean-O Rk continues to slow. The ISS made a nice pass this evening. It passed through the handle of the Big Dipper (315az, 42el) at 00:46UTC, 13 August. Its brightness was about a 0 mag - as slightly brighter than both Arcturus and Vega. Cosmos 955 (10362, 77091A) may be in a slow roll. It exited eclipse, passed directly overhead and descended to the horizon at az009 beginning at 01:38UTC, 13 August. As it passed overhead it was about +1.0 mag. After passing behind some clouds I reacquired it at about a +5.0 mag as it passed to the right of Polaris. Tomorrow evening at my location it will pass over Arcturus and through the Big Dipper at 21:45-21:47EDT (01:45-01:47UTC August 14). SeeSat (10967, 78064A) was +2.0mag as it passed high in the NNW at 02:12UTC 13 August. Sunsat (25636, 99008C) was a non-obs due to too much ambient light.
