I have a question regarding the recent launch of Lacrosse 4: Why didn't the US government release information on the launch? It doesn't seem that there's much use in classifying satellites; we have videos of the launch, know the indentification and classification of the satellite, and its orbit. We can track it, and know its purpose. We even know what specific group of the US government launched it. This may not be strictly observational-related, but it is puzzling to me, and possibly to others on the list, too. Thanks! --------------------------------------------------------------- Jonathan T.
