I recommend all to visit the www.space.com web site about this event, as they seem to have the best writeups that I have seen, plus an article on the "amateur" effort. Note that tomorrow, if healthy, the s/c is pre-programmed to do an attitude maneuver that would direct another of its antennas towards Earth. There are 4 onboard antennas, two hemispherical low-gains, a medium gain fanbeam, and a high-gain dish. Tomorrow should be a transition from the forward low-gain (mounted on the same end as the rocket nozzle) to the aft low-gain. There is now independent evidence that the burn most likely occurred, thus the search will be concentrated in the "successful burn" part of the sky.
