In April or May 2001 Sky&Telescope had a review, where they found that RA/Dec positioning could go to the same, but incorrect, RA/dec repeatedly. Has this error been eliminated? Does it only affect hand- not computer- control? Can it be avoided with incremental positioning (if available) from a recognized star? Can it be avoided with altaz positioning (if available) ? Meade does not publish ANY mail address for technical questions.
