Ed Cannon, Kevin Fetter and me have observed bright flashes in a band, tonight corresponding to RA 23 dec.+60 to RA 02:15 dec.+20 Because no observations have been received outside this band, extrapolations for tonight's pass are somewhat uncertain: RA 19:40 +70 at 03:14 UT, and RA 03:15 +01 at about 06:40 UT would be the crossings for Texas observers. (The latter is quite distant, so almost the same for all) There are also three partial-period flashes observed - these may be bright at other times/positions ! Other passes may give observers at other locations chances to extend the range of the known flash band, eventually to complete circles ! ----- Original Message ----- From: "Ed Cannon" < Thanks very much. I hope we see it some more. I think that Paul Gabriel may be interested in seeing it if he has a pretty good idea of when to look. ----------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe from SeeSat-L, send a message with 'unsubscribe' in the SUBJECT to SeeSat-L-request@satobs.org List archived at http://www.satobs.org/seesat/seesatindex.html
