Hello all, here is an overview of some observations reported to SeeSat-L during the past months. As you might remember some geostationary flashers have periodical variations of the rotation period (see http://users.skynet.be/satimage/bwgs/kj/gorizont.htm) Gorizont 23 reached its minimum period around February 2003. If history repeats itself, its maximum period should be reached around September- November timeframe, and then it should start accelerating again, so keep an eye on this one. 91- 46 A 02-12-26 00:07 KJ 55.81 91- 46 A 03-01-03 EC 55.8 91- 46 A 03-01-05 04:49:04.3 EC 1059.6 0.1 19 55.77 91- 46 A 03-02-25 18:20:44 LB 334.7 0.2 6 55.78 FF, 5->i 91- 46 A 03-02-25 19:05:22 LB 502.2 0.2 9 55.80 FF, 4(5)->i 91- 46 A 03-02-26 18:35:58 LB 1227.9 0.2 22 55.82 FF, 4(6)->inv 91- 46 A 03-02-27 19:00:24.70LB 669.8 0.2 12 55.81 FF, 5(7)->i 91- 46 A 03-02-27 19:21:08.66LB 279.0 0.2 5 55.80 FF, 4(6)->i 91- 46 A 03-03-03 19:32:49.10LB 1228.7 0.2 22 55.85 FF, 4(7)->i 91- 46 A 03-03-06 19:10:30.54LB 726.4 0.2 13 55.88 FF, 5(7)->i 91- 46 A 03-08-18 04:40:08.9 EC 931.6 0.2 16 58.23 +5->inv 91- 46 A 03-08-19 01:54:58.57JDG 815.3 0.3 14 58.23 +7.0->inv 91- 46 A 03-08-20 03:35:55.4 PG 1223.2 0.2 21 58.25 +4.5->inv 91- 46 A 03-08-21 04:02:17.3 PG 4543.7 0.2 78 58.253 +4.0->inv 91- 46 A 03-08-26 04:55:42.2 PG 2914.0 0.2 50 58.281 +4.5->inv ----------------------------------------------------- does anyone have PPAS reports for Gorizont 23 21533 91046A from sep2002 thru feb2003. thanks! ----------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe from SeeSat-L, send a message with 'unsubscribe' in the SUBJECT to SeeSat-L-request@satobs.org List archived at http://www.satobs.org/seesat/seesatindex.html
