    Once observed with 10x50 binoculars but I think it was just Ralph
    brightening to the occasional 6 mag. In 8" telescope with 40mm eyepiece the
    tether is approx 9 mag. I need to pay attention to Norton's mag, it seems
    like just the end of the tether sometimes.
