Hi Kevin,
I'm sure this was a fuel dump from the Centaur stage that was launched tonight.
I saw the end of it as I arrived home from work. Its location match the
following elset produced by Ted :
414 X 39957
1 72000U 04245.01776620 .00000000 00000-0 00000-0 0 06
2 72000 58.4281 233.3614 7445000 290.0637 0.0000 2.00600000 06
I will analyze a bit more my observation to see how well it matches this elset.
My first sighting was at around 01:15 UTC. It had the shape of a wide comet tail
about 2 degrees long and was slowly drifting toward the east. Approx coordinates
were AD 16h25 and +45 dec.
