Anyone have any experience with Orion 3 > being a flasher? I observed Orion 3 (25727 99-024A) on four different passes from June to October 1999 and on one of them (1999 June 20/02:02 UTC) noted a "brief flare to magnitude [approx] 3.4"; on 1999 October 12/23:43 UTC, I noted "maximum flash to magnitude 0.8 [approximately]". During the other two passes, it was between 5-1/2 and 7 magnitude. Clear and dark skies!
