I was at a star party last night, where I pointed out some sat passes. Was using my video camera,
so lots of people could see the satellite passing by:)
After I got home, I setup so I could observe Meridian 1 and other stuff.
First I went was the reliable Milstar 6 ( 27711 ) geo sat. Always enjoyable to see.
Then I waited for Meridian 1 ( 29668 ) satellite, which again was easy to see.
I observed it between 5:35 to 5:40 UTC ( Aug 21 ) it was brighter then mag 8.
Not bad for something over 16000 km away at the time.
I observed flashing from Fltsatcom 3 from 7:28 to 7:53 UTC ( Aug 21 )
