Last night at Canyon of the Eagles, a dark-sky site,
    while I was watching Intelsat 501 Rk (12497, 81-050B),
I saw a flashing geosynch near it. It didn't match
any of the few I had on my predictions. Now the
closest match seems to be LES 9 (08747, 76-023B).
The flash period was about 14 seconds, and some of
the flashes were visible without magnification. The
problem with the ID is that my rough positions are
a minute or more off from the predicted position of
LES 9. Oh, the time I have was about 4:21 to 4:28
UTC, but I think it continued to be observed after
that, and it could have been flashing before I saw
    it.

Guests were here for Friday and Saturday evenings,
but I'll let others report on them!
