Last time it was a surprise double flare , this time a traveling pair of sats flaring at the same time , and exactly as they reached the brim of the bowl of the Big Dipper ! Wow , was that cool & also sheer luck . USA 229 USA 229 DEB Traveling one in front of the other , leading sat was brighter by 1 mag , even when flaring . It Flared to ~ mag +2 perhaps . Heavensabove show them as being around a 1 KM separation and I saw almost a full degree of separation (estimated) . HA's timing saidthey were 6 seconds apart but I think it was more like 3-4 sec's max .
