Hello everyone!

I'm a Finnish amateur astronomer, and I was observing Perseid meteor shower when I suddenly observed this mysterious satellite triplet in the constellation of Aquila. First two of the satellites flared, and then the third one in the middle. The satellites were moving upwards quite slowly. When flaring, their brightness was rivaling Vega!

Details of my observation:

Object: An unid satellite triplet in Aquila
Date: 12.-13.8.2014
Time: 21:26 UT
Place: Turku, Finland

I'm not yet familiar with the satellite observation report format, but please have a look at my photos on my blog: http://celest1alsphere.wordpress.com/2014/08/14/mystery-satellite-triplet-during-perseid-night/

I tried to look up this satellite with Heavensat -program, but I couldn't identify it. NOSS satellites are triplets, but I couldn't find any good match. Could this perhaps be a Chinese NOSS -like triplet? Or perhaps something else?

Hopefully you guys could help me to identify this!

Best regards,
