RE: Nice flare

Hi:

 I was out looking for late Perseids and taking exposures, but because I was seated looking away for a moment I did not see the
flare from Iridium 38! only when I looked at the camera did I see the trail.. though I had a fireball - but nope :(
It occurred at 0018 UT . Checked with Heavens Above. Also I note each night a bright satellite coming up from the south area
at -1 mag then fades to about 3 by time it reaches Aquila. Could be a Cosmos body. It sorta reminds me of ISS at times. It has a polar
orbit.
