Hello all;

An Ariane 5 ECA (VA232) launch vehicle is ready to liftoff from French
Guiana today 2016/08/24 at 21:55:00 UTC two Intelsat satellites (Intelsat
33e and Intalsat 36 into a GTO orbit of 250 x 35879 Km, 6ยบ orbit. Launch
window is till 22:40:00 UTC. No reports of any issues right now at T-45
minutes and counting.

The launch kit is available here:

http://www.arianespace.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/08/Launch-kit_VA232_EN.pdf

The following elements are computed using launch kit's information and
another similar mission's information:

Payload 261 X 35880 km
1 70001U 16501A 16237.94930556 0.00000000 00000-0 00000+0 0 03
2 70001 5.9994 131.4860 7284411 175.8360 19.1558 2.27174409 01

As allways those elements are an estimation, so allow some uncertainty to
them. Also, note that this TLE is valid only if liftoff occurs at launch
window open. I will be updating this TLE if any delay occurs.

Observers from Asia (specially India and nearby countries) will be able to
see it at near 36 minutes after liftoff. At this time the payloads, the
payload adaptor and the upper stage should be still attached, as mission
duration is 41 minutes and 55 seconds, according to the launch kit.

Jon.
