According to John Pike, the Titan IV was launched
at 21:18 UTC, "due south". The launch azimuth,
and a 57 foot payload fairing indicates a KH.

The launch occurred 22 minutes before the southbound
plane crossing of USA 86 over the pad, so it may be
replacing it (rather early!) or augmenting it. So
there may be some interesting new observational
and analytical challenges next spring.

bye for now
