My thanks to all who responded to my inquiry.  There were several days
around last weekend when no messages showed up on the BBS I use, and I
wondered if I missed anything important.  That must have been when the
the news about Mir's orbital boost appeared.  I'll check the archives
for further details as you suggested.

Does anyone have a comparison of satellite tracking programs'
predictions of orbital eclipse?  Is there a program that predicts this
reliably?
