Just  ( 1148:20 UT Dec 3, 1996) saw Columbia
& SPAS . Apparent separation 3 degrees with Columbia
leading of course. SPAS about mag 5, Columbia
about mag 0. 
An an entirely different matter has anybody seen
TIPS in last 3 weeks. I looked for it twice under
reasobable conditions( with 7x50's ) and saw nothing.
