A few days ago, I saw ONE of the Orbcomm satellites in an 8" telescope. I believe it would have been visible in 7x50 binocs. This morning, I looked for them again using only binoculars. It was a 45 degree pass at 6:10 AM local. I observed nearly due south, perhaps 35 degrees elevation. I saw nothing. The angle to the sun was not the best but still I had hoped to at least see one.
