well, I don't think this is much of a justification, but I would like
to have pieces of the MIR (or the whole MIR but too expensive to do)
on exhibit at the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum.  I wouldn't be
bothered by my dollars going towards a mission to grab some things
and pieces for museums like the Smithsonian, but I know many others
may be (if I asked my coworkers at the insurance company office, I
bet they would, for the most part, have problems with that use of
taxpayer money).  Maybe tack on a human sciences mission or imaging
mission and it may not be too bad for the average taxpayer to
accept the cost.
