Hi all, Just saw a pass of Iridium 9 at 00:11 UT, Dec. 10 and it was flashing as reported by Paul Maley and Ed Cannon. It looks like there is a measurable flashing period but the pattern is irregular. At first, we saw a 2-flash pattern with a faint followed by a strong one (mag 2), then it was a double flash pair (2 pairs of flashes). At -20 C, I had trouble with my stopwatch and could not get accurate timings. I lost the satellite behind an appartment building.
