Just observed this duo at 21:44 Dec 23/00. Nice pass just under Polaris. ISS mag -1 to -2, no flare but brighter in the eastern part of pass. Progress was slightly leading and above ISS, but no more than 3/4 of a degree away! Magnitude approx 4. Visible naked eye.
