    ISS obs December 26, 2000, 23:20:18 U.T.
    
    Report (sorry for the caps, it's how I typed it in on my calculator.  I
    just uploaded it into my computer):
    
    SAW THROUGH THICK CLOUDS-ONLY FIRST MAG STARS VISIBLE.COULD HAVE BEEN AN
    AIRPLANE GOING THROUGH THICKER CLOUDS,BUT IT DISAPPEARED THE EXACT SECOND
    THAT ISS WAS SUPPOSED TO.IT WAS WHITE,NOT ORANGE AS SEEN BY OTHER
    OBSERVERS,POSSIBLY BECAUSE I WAS OBSERVING THROUGH SUBSTANTIAL CLOUDS.
    
    This was my first observation of the ISS since the installation of the
    solar panels.  Hopefully, I'll get a clear view of it before I go back to
    school for four months (= 4 months of no satellite observing).
