Several members of the ISS flight control team left the mission control room (briefly) and gathered in the very chilly MCC parking lot this evening to observe the ISS pass. Nothing noteworthy or unusual about the pass except the viewing location and participants. No flaring or noticeable color change was observed. But given the circumstances, a very enjoyable pass of ISS. MIR was also observed about an hour earlier. Happy New Year to all. Now, back to work...
