Notes:
~~~~~~
(1) USA 125 missed as I had to take an important telephone call which
came at the critical time - will try for it again tonight although
a lot of cirrus building up at the moment.
(2) An orbit plane scan for USA 161 was started 20 minutes before the
predicted time, based on elements when satellite last observed,
till 8 minutes pass predicted time. No unexpected satellite was
seen. I had to discontinue the scan as USA 116 was due.
Predicted time USA 161 - 23h48m UT Dec 1, scan started 23h28m
through till 23h56m.Elevation of predicted point 18.2 degrees
at az 156.0 degrees. If I am to find this I must forget about USA 116
as the difference in azimuth is too big to cover simultaneously.
(3) USA 116 running on predictions.
(4) Satellites still to be reported are:
DMSP B5D2-6
Lacrosse 4 first pass
USA 144 - maybe - very low in west and maybe too faint.
DMSP 5DS-14
USA 32
ATEX - this time I made sure I got the correct satellite ( I think:-)))
Whilst waiting for this satellite I saw 6 satellites cross the
field of view in as many minutes so its a popular "road" junction.
(azimuth 193, el 21 deg)
Cheers
Greg
