On Jan. 4, 2003 a 33 day old el set for Eyesat A / #22829 has it 1/2d above a conjunction of Saturn and M1 at 23.47.29 UT for my local at 089.2 az and 35.2 to 35.65 el. Eyesat A would be a first for me, and there are other near approaches for me to look at. Others will have sat passes near this celestrial event , which I think is a really fun sat observation. Day before and after sat passes may also be seen in telescope field of view with Saturn and M1. Cloudy for a long time here, the 2 exceptions recently I had other priorities. I was able to see the glow of the moon thru the clouds for a couple of minutes before thicker clouds and rain tonite. Forecast: cloudy.
