TSE says INSAT 2A has been put into "the junk orbit". Scanning
Jonathan McDowell's geosat log, these two seem to be candidates
    for 74E currently:

    S27298 2002-002A Insat 3C 2002 Jan 30? * 74E 2002
    S27525 2002-043A METSAT-1 2002 Sep 14 0558 * 74E 2002

First Telstar 401 flash tonight, 0:44:26 Dec 11 UTC. I hope to
see it begin about 0:35-37 tomorrow evening.
