    Hi all,

Arianespace anounced the coming launch of the flight 165, to place Helios IIA
in the usual sun-synchronous orbit with an Ariane 5 Generic.

The military observation satellite will be accompanied by 6 other small satellites
in this launch : the four ESSAIM payloads (swarm in french), PARASOL and
    NANOSAT.

At the present time, the launch is scheduled for 16h26 utc, on December 10, 2004.
These polar launches from Kourou usually allow nice observations from the east
coast of North America. So, good luck for the candidates... and for Ariane !

Launch live on the web from H-20min :

    Best wishes,
    T. Marais
