I can't see the the shifting of the axis, having an effect on the satellite's orbit. The earth's gravity feild, atmo drag, moon/sun would have way more of an effect on satellite orbit's. I don't know about you, if the axis shifts then it would effect which way the axis is pointing, and by how much. So the the angle between the equator and earth's orbital plane would change.
