When finally I got in touch with Jeff Hunt the other day (thanks to Mike McCant) I told Jeff what I had in mind (sorry, Jeff) when I couldn't find him. Jeff replied and said "I have to pinch myself every once in a while, but yes, I'm still alive and kicking." Two days ago, I was editing the links of my linkpages that I just moved to http://www.mysattrack.com/ and I found out that Dave H. Ransom's STS Plus site was broken. I thought, may be the server was down and I would be back to check it later. Yesterday, the system was still down so I went to google it but I couldn't find any info about the broken link. Finally I use his name as the search word and find the sad news at David Cottle's site in Australia: http://www.aus-city.com/ubbthreads/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=31792 I'm sure many of us in the list had tried Dave's STSPlus software before. At one time I thought that software would be good to show the school kids in my old home town since it didn't need any sophiticated computer language. However that dream has never been materialized and now Dave has already gone ahead of us to meet the creator. Like David cottle said in his site that I quote in my blog: "His passing on is a great sadness for the many people he has helped over the years and his friends who knew him. He will be sadly missed."
