Time, and I, were more correct than I dared hope for:
Using SkyMap Stereographic mode with FOV=0.625 deg
    centered at az 165.88 el 28.08 (Epoch 2000.0 RA 10:01 dec.-16:10)
I find the stars match very well. The faintest stars I see are
a +9.55 star to the right of the first flash, and the
+9.66 mag HD#086666 midway near the right edge.
The disappearing "bright" star is +7.6
