Time, and I, were more correct than I dared hope for: Using SkyMap Stereographic mode with FOV=0.625 deg centered at az 165.88 el 28.08 (Epoch 2000.0 RA 10:01 dec.-16:10) I find the stars match very well. The faintest stars I see are a +9.55 star to the right of the first flash, and the +9.66 mag HD#086666 midway near the right edge. The disappearing "bright" star is +7.6 ----- Original Message ----- From: "Björn Gimle" ... > At 09:20 UTC I find 09880 at RA 10:00 Dec.-16 az 166 el 28 ... > At that pos, 09880 would move 2.0 deg/min, and it appears to pass the > vertical FOV in 19 sec, which makes the vertical FOV 0.64 deg. ... > ----- Original Message ----- > From: "Kevin Fetter" > ... >> MOLNIYA 1-36 >> >> http://www.kfetter.com/satvideo/120406/09880.wmv ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Subscribe/Unsubscribe info, Frequently Asked Questions, SeeSat-L archive: http://www.satobs.org/seesat/seesatindex.html
