One thing has me a little worried about what may be a sighting of part of the ANGARA 5 test from Southern Africa. At the time reported the sky was still bright so the event to be related to the mission must have been VERY bright - impossibly so???? As far as I can gather the BRIZ-M and dummy payload entered an orbit of 35841 x 38680 km at 0.3 degrees. I have still to find out the catalog number so hopefully will be able to get orbital data from SPACETRACK and thus check whether the flight trajectory matched the approximate observations. If its not related to ANGARA 5 then there is a problem - I hate UFO reports :-))) Cheers Greg _______________________________________________ Seesat-l mailing list http://mailman.satobs.org/mailman/listinfo/seesat-lReceived on Fri Dec 26 2014 - 06:52:44 UTC
