Reentry of 14052B / 40142

Depending on the ballistic properties of the tank, high altitude winds could have caused it to land up to about 10 km
either side of the re-entry ground track. If anyone knows of a reliable source of actual wind data for the area in
question on Dec 28 near 05:00 UTC, especially at high altitude, please inform us.

The following article clarifies the location where the cylindrical COPV tank was discovered:

"O objeto caiu na zona rural de Santa Rita do Rio Pardo, a 268 quilômetros de Campo Grande. A localidade está a 300
metros apenas da área urbana do município. Segundo os proprietários do local, eles ouviram um estrondo às 3h da manhã,
mas só encontraram o objeto por volta das 9h de hoje, ao caminhar pelo sítio." 

Which translates as, "The object fell in the countryside of Santa Rita do Rio Pardo, 268 km from Campo Grande. The
location is just 300 meters from the city's urban area. According to the site owners, they heard a bang at 3 am, but
only found the object at about 9 am today, when walking through the site."

The centre of Santa Rita do Rio Pardo is approximately 21.296 S, 52.828 W.
